Review: To understand the reason behind this app I think it’s important to understand that Rilix are a software company who specialises in actual roller coaster simulators with virtual reality. So basically a ride like you might see in a shopping mall or local arcade. You then put on a VR headset and you are given a VR roller coaster ride while everyone shops around you. So before anyone moans, this is why you only get one coaster.
At the end of the day, this app is a free promotional marketing app that takes the form of a free roller coaster demo. The idea is you enjoy the ride so much that you seek out where your nearest Rilix Coaster rider is and spend a few quid on it.
OK, so this is one big promotional marketing app for the real world Rilix rides. But in truth, you do still get a free VR roller coaster experience and a pretty good one if that. Sure I would have loved to have experienced the rest, but one that is free is much better than none. If you love your virtual reality rollercoasters, this is a must!
