Review: There is a simple reason why Altspace raised $2.5 Million From Google Ventures and that is the social element. It is also the reason why Facebook invested in VR! Social media will be a big part of virtual reality and Altspace VR is a pretty good start. With several scenes to choose from you can play games watch videos and do all sorts of sharing and caring things.

Being able to watch a show, share photos or just chat in VR is something that feels a little weird at the moment, but as time goes on VR social media will one day be massive. You can also enter this universe on the PC, where the oculus version and the PC people can chat together. With waterfalls and location globes to look at there are lots of things to keep people amused. While this is not the perfect VR chat experience, it is a pretty good one.
