Review: Let me get something straight with everyone right away. I am not against virtual tour brochure apps and I believe they are a great use of VR. Being able to visit and see places in VR with 360 videos is a great way to grow tourism and make people feel more relaxed about visiting the place. What I don’t like about Amazing Ha Long Bay is that is charges you for something that should have been essentially a free app. Sure, a lot of time and effort probably did go into make this, but if you promote hotels and other businesses within that tour brochure app you are essentially paying for an advert! Was it nice to see the amazing sights of Ha Long Bay? Yes! Was the 360 video quality good enough? Just about! Is there a point in you downloading this app? None whatsoever. In fact, there are many free 360 videos of Ha Long Bay you can watch on YouTube! So just to be straight I am not hatting on Ha Long Bay at all because it looks like an amazing place, but I am hatting on being charged for what boils down to a holiday advert.
