Whether you’re a debut driver or a rapid-racing veteran, your steering skills, reflexes and courage will be pushed to the absolute limit.

Review: Driveclub has had a troubled past when being ported to the PSVR. People didn’t like it and the online boards were often empty. Now forward on a few years and here we are again with the release of Driveclub VR. It has to be said that driving games in VR are pretty much a sure bet. Being placed in the seat of a racing car, being able to look around and look at the side and rear mirrors will soon get anyone’s excitement levels flowing and to be fair to Driveclub VR at times it looks simply stunning.

While I am slightly disappointed that the graphics have been dumbed down (including the lack of any weather effects), it is still loads of fun to play. Get yourself a steering wheel, set of headphones, plus a cheap racing chair and this game will have you easily believing you are driving in a real life race. There are many better racing games out there that I would have preferred were given the VR treatment like Forza, but for now, it is good enough.
