GoalieVR (Oculus Rift)
Intro: Experience the adrenaline rush of defending your goal against 5 opposing players, an unrealistic but FUN experience. Play against AI or your friends (requires a compatible mobile device).
Verdict: What GoalieVR boils down to is a simple Ice hockey goalie simulator and very little else. No opportunity to shoot, just standing in goal and try to save as many as possible. It has to be said that content is very thin on the ground with no variety in stadium or goalie design, but what it does do is a pretty good simulation for people wanting to practice being in goal. Unless you have an interest in being a goalie in ice hockey or ice hockey goalies in general you will have little or no fun here, that is not to say its a bad simulator because it’s not, it just that it is rather limited in who will enjoy it.
