Review: The Great Wall is a non-interactive experience that sees you taking on a tour of the Great Wall in China. But relaxing walk taking several days is not what this tour is all about. This is 100MHP rocket powered Riksha and your rider/driver/pilot is a crazy old man called Li Yong. It starts off as a relaxing ride, but things soon spiral into chaos and you will find yourself facing near death more than once.

There really isn’t any interaction at all here, just sit back and enjoy the ride. Oh, and try not to be sick along the way as this is a… (And I Quote): “high-speed ride that will likely induce nausea even in experienced VR users.” and believe me when I tell you, it will make you feel ill.

Provided you can handle the low frame rate and nauseating ride you might enjoy this crazy tour around China. I personally feel it was an opportunity missed. I would have preferred a slow moving tour around a small part of the wall, or maybe a 360 video of someone walking the real wall, but what you get is something that is too blurry and fast for it’s own good. To be fair at times it looks great and I enjoyed the humour in it especially the ET ending. But not even that could make me recommend this game to anyone.
