Review: Using the PlayStation Move controllers you can draw in 3D space with various tools and styles, then it allows you to manipulate your creations in that same 3D space. All the while you are getting down to your own music or any of the 17 music tracks they included. It’s a bit like Tilt Brush only with music. The idea is the music gets your creative mind flowing and allows you to paint/make your own impression of what the music looks like. Or maybe, painting is not your thing, if so you can also play and animate various monsters/characters yourself. Sort of like dancing puppets, I have to admit this was the most fun I had in the entire game and it did indeed keep me amused for a while.

This is an app that gives you the freedom to express your creative freedom powered by the music you are hearing. Sadly, for people like myself who don’t have a creative bone in our bodies, this app is little more than a visual tempo beat to watch while you listen to your music. I do believe that the idea is a very good one and some people will lose themselves for hours in this app, but for non-creative types like me, it offers very little replay value and an even smaller value for money. Having said that I am sure an art student would think this is the best app in the world! Harmonix Music VR game offers you the chance to play with your music, but just don’t expect too much Gameplay.
