Description: In Project DIVA X, players help Miku and her friends sing and dance their way through five Clouds that comprise their world! Each Cloud has its own unique aura — Classic, Cool, Cute, Elegant, and Quirky — that will offer different challenges for players to fulfil. Moreover, the auras of the 30 new and classic songs they perform, and the nearly 300 modules (costumes) they’ll wear, will have an important impact on the many different challenges.
Review: For those who are new to this series of games, Project DIVA is a music rhythm game (press the right button, at the right time) starring a digital singer called Hatsune Miku. Project DIVA X is driven forward through a narrative which centres on Miku and her friends undertaking various requests as they explore the five Clouds that make up their world.
Playing the game is the usual style of right button, right time. Obviously, this gets harder and harder as the game goes on. But I did like the countdown arrow going around in a square, giving you pretty much the perfect timing. This is a game about having fun and getting into the music and the way you do that is by involved in the concert that Hatsune Miku is doing. Players who can find something to love in Miku’s musical leanings will definitely want to check out their goddess’ latest incarnation.
