Review: Here is the problem with games like ‘HITMAN 3’ (this is going to be a big rant, so buckle in). When we VR enthusiasts hear of a big game getting a…”VR Makeover” we have this vision in our head that we will become that character we all know and love. The problem is we have this impression of what the game will look like and it is never what the game is really like. Is HITMAN 3 a good game? Yes! It’s a fantastic game! It looks exciting and there is so much content you can easily get your money’s worth from this AAA quality title.

But at the end of the day if you have played the original game you have played this one. There is nothing new here, no additional content, it’s just the same great game with VR content bolted onto the side of it. Sure, it isn’t half as immersive as we all might have liked and it is a lazy conversion, but it is ‘A’ conversion and we should be grateful for that. If you have never played this game it is going to blow you away, but it was never going to be the game we made up in our heads because VR simply isn’t big enough yet to make big-name game companies make AAA games like this exclusively for VR. It sucks, I know, but it is the truth.
