Description: Jet Island is massive open world and you have an arsenal of tools that will allow you to travel through this world at extreme speeds! When standing on your hoverboard, the ground below you becomes frictionless. Perfect for sliding up and down the mountainous terrain. To control the direction of your movement and gain even more speed, you have two wrist-mounted jet thrusters. You also have grappling hooks to swing from tall structures and climb up the side of giant monsters. The combination of these tools provides a freedom of movement unlike any other. There are no limits to what you can do. It’s the closest feeling to learning how to fly.
Review: Jet Island is a free-roaming action game in which you can jetpack or grappling hook around exploring a very large island. There are even some drones to kill and the odd boss to battle. I have to say this is an odd game as it is fun to play, action-packed, but yet somehow managed to be quite relaxing and zen-like. If you enjoy games like Windlands, you should find some enjoyment here. I’m not quite sure that it is worth £14.99, but grabbing it in a sale will soon give you better value for money. It’s an odd one for sure, but I feel it is well worth a look.
