Review: While some might not agree with me, I think music and VR are the perfect partners when done well. Get the right tune and the right visuals and you can have yourself an incredible experience that allows the music to go into your very soul, feeling every beat and understanding every word that is being sung.

This VR music video is from Norwegian electronic musician Kygo. Now you might not have heard of him, but his music has been seen by 300 million people on SoundCloud and YouTube. But now, none other than Sony Music themselves have made a virtual reality music video from his “Carry Me” song. There is little to do here other than sit back and enjoy the sights and sounds working together to bring you a music experiance like no other.

Kygo “Carry Me” VR Experience is yet another great example of why VR music videos are so good. You can feel every single beat and emotion the artist is trying to put into the music easier and even stronger than you ever could if you were just listening to it. For just a few quid you get a powerful ride with some truly amazing visuals. My only regret with this is that I couldn’t download a whole album in the same style.
