Lynx R1 Review
The first thing we need to talk about with this headset is its design. It’s a mix of both VR and VR and they are calling it Passthrough VR/AR. They do this thanks to the 4-fold catadioptric freeform prism lense that is unlike any other lense we have seen before. It merges four images together to make a single picture giving you the illusion of AR, but it is in fact VR (complicated I know). With a successful Kickstarter campaign under their belt, this is one headset well worth keeping an eye on and you can find out more about it here – https://www.lynx-r.com/
Is The Lynx R1 Worth Buying?
Sadly this headset is not yet released and we have no idea when it might be. So, for now, we can’t really review the device as it would not be an accurate review of it. But as soon as it does become available we will review it and make a full unboxing video for you all to enjoy.
