Our Thoughts: While most virtual reality systems were expensive in the early 90’s this one we particularly pricey. But the stats are not shy to justify the price. With an AMLCD 800 x 225 Display and NTSC (RS-170) support its a powerhouse of VR (for its time anyway.) While the tech is quite impressive the build quality really isn’t. Made from plastic it has a crappy looking blue folding sun visor and very poor quality head straps. Given how much you might have paid for this you would expect a lot better.

The other problems it had was that it was a miss-marketing of sorts. This was aimed towards commercial markets when only massive design industries could afford it! But it’s not all bad. It feels comfortable, lightweight and well balanced. It was also a high-quality display that was top of the range. It’s just a shame that it was all it had going for it because it’s not a bad looking headset.
