Description: PAYDAY 2 is an action-packed, four-player co-op shooter that once again lets gamers don the masks of the original PAYDAY crew – Dallas, Hoxton, Wolf and Chains – as they descend on Washington DC for an epic crime spree. The new CRIMENET network offers a huge range of dynamic contracts, and players are free to choose anything from small-time convenience store hits or kidnappings, to big league cyber-crime or emptying out major bank vaults for that epic PAYDAY. While in DC, why not participate in the local community, and run a few political errands?

Up to four friends co-operate on the hits, and as the crew progresses the jobs become bigger, better and more rewarding. Along with earning more money and becoming a legendary criminal comes a new character customization and crafting system that lets crews build and customize their own guns and gear.

Review: At the end of the day, PAYDAY 2 wasn’t meant to be played in VR and even when it comes to playing it on a flat 2D screen it looks a little dated. But even taking those things into account this is still a pretty impressive game to play in VR. It gives the classic GTA wannabe a new lease of life and while it is far from perfect the size and depth of the original game converts to a VR game that you can sink yourself into for hours. If you love GTA and can’t wait for a VR update, this is sure to be something to try. For me, this is easily worth a download, but don’t expect miracles and don’t expect top of the range graphics (although they still look amazing to me). But do expect a cheap adventure that will take you weeks if not months to complete.
