ABS Cardboard V3 (VR Viewer)

“…much better than a folding Google Cardboard build.”

Please note: Box weight, size and contents might not represent your own product as sometimes different sellers use their own packaging and often include extra items like controllers, wipes, cloths or other promotional materials.

Box Weight: 192 g
Box Hight Size: 5 cm
Box Width Size: 10 cm
Box Length Size: 16 cm

Overall Packaging Presentation: Unlike most other flat packed / DIY build, Google Cardboard headsets this one is packaged in a box and isn’t too bad. The plain white box had an image of the headset on the front and set by step instructions on the back. No much to speak of, but at least it was boxed.

Whats in the box…

  • Headset (in 6 seperate peices)

ABS Cardboard V3

First Impressions: From the moment the box was open, I was hopeful that it wasn’t going to to too hard to put together. Following the simple instructions on the back of the box it was soon assembled and ready to use. While I don’t think much of the quality it’s ease of use is much better than a folding Google Cardboard build.

Features Review: The only feature that this headset seems to have is that it can be flat packed. But given how much better other headsets like the VR Fold do this, this is not even a feature it is good at.

Final Verdict: Sadly this is not the best replacement for the Google Cardboard. The lack of touch button is the hardest part, but the overall quality is not up to much. If you could have it customised that would have been a good selling point, but it sadly isn’t. If you got one as a freebie it might be OK, but paying for it will leave you feeling a little disappointed.
