Overall Packaging Presentation: While it’s silver and black box with trademark wiggly lines and logo on is a sturdy and fine looking box, its not shop ready or as presentable as some we have reviewed. The good news is that inside of that rather undescriptive box is a nice cushion of foam padding that should keep the headset safe no matter where it is being delivered to.

Whats in the box…

  • Headset
  • Microfiber Cloth
  • Instruction Booklet

First Impressions: With it’s sharp, plastic body and a metal plate in the front, this headset has an odd industrial style feel and look to it that makes it unique. But it also makes it look a little dated which indeed this headset is, being one of the very first mobile VR headsets. But it also feels quite light and well balanced in the hand.

Final Verdict: While certainly not flawless this headset is a little piece of mobile VR history. While it’s ageing design and features make it look poor quality it really isn’t. To many of us, it will be more of a collectors item, to others it will be a good chance to dip their toes into the world of mobile VR. But much like your old grampa, just don’t expect too much more than basic things.
