Overall Packaging Presentation: This is one of those rare headsets that comes with shop ready packaging. This looks like it was designed to be consumer friendly in every way they could. It has a nice image of the headset, a list of its main features and even some suggested apps to download. Inside the box the headset is foam wrapped, but no other form of protective packaging. Still, it arrived with us in one piece and I suppose that is all you can really hope for.

First Impressions: Picking it up and out of the box for the first time nearly threw it into the air it was that light! This is a headset that has more than a few surprises up its sleeve. Once I had got over the lightweight body I started to notice some other things I liked, like the face frame being made entirely of foam, the strong (but light) bulky frame and the oversized screen touch buttons. This headset impressed me from the word go, but can it keep it up through the rest of our tests?

Features Review: While we don’t have any focus adjustment here, we do have independent pupil adjustment and two easy to find screen touch buttons. Also, the lenses are pretty nice as is the 2 point head strap. So not too much in the way of features, but more than enough for a good mobile VR experience.

Final Verdict: This headset is a shooting star in the night sky filled with other mobile VR headsets. From the opening of the box to the point just before you try it on your head, this headsets future looks bright. …and then you try it on for the first time. Oh, dear. First up, it is so uncomfortable I had to hold it away from my nose because it started to cut off circulation of the blood! Without the over the head strap it soon slips and tilts as well, but even those problems pale in comparison to the screen touch arms being so much in the way it was like a pair of eyes looking back at me the whole time I was testing it!
Such a crying shame, this headset could have been easily one of the best we have ever tested, but just at the finish line it trips over and gets trampled on by thousands of other headsets. But nevertheless the quality of build was there, the design was all there and I for one would love to see a V2 of this headset from the same makers. But this version is sadly best avoided.
