Overall Packaging Presentation: Sadly, our Me2star VR arrived in little more than a well bubble wrapped bag. The good news is there were several layers of bubble paper meaning the headset arrived in perfect condition.

Whats in the bag…

  • Headset
  • Extra Padding Strips
  • Microfiber Cloth
  • Instruction Booklet

Me2star VR

First Impressions: The first time I picked it out of the bag it felt like a good quality headset. It had good features and strong and sturdy in my hand. Sadly I soon started to realise that everything felt and looked a little cheaper than usual. Believe you and me, when I tell you that we have had some super cheaply made headsets through the VR shops office door, but this one just felt cheaper than normal.

Features Review: It certainly has all you need for a good VR existence. With independent focus and pupil distance adjustment, good face padding and gaps in the sides for earphones and power, but very little else. No AR apps for this headset and the adjustable dials felt a little loose. But at least it has them!

Final Verdict: Maybe it was just a bad apple in the bunch, but our headset just didn’t feel anywhere near like the quality we expected. It was all loose and all in all didn’t feel or look finished. Other people might get this headset and everything will work as it should do, but that simply wasn’t the case for us. If you got it as a gift it might be OK, but to pay for it will leave you feeling a little disappointed.
