Pansonite VR

“…pretty stylish and good value for money.”

Please note: Box weight, size and contents might not represent your own product as sometimes different sellers use their own packaging and often include extra items like controllers, wipes, cloths or other promotional materials.

Box Weight: 375 g
Box Height: 20 cm (8.1″)
Box Width: 14 cm (5.5″)
Box Length: 10 cm (4″)

Overall Packaging Presentation: While certainly nothing amazing it is still a nice box with enough details and information on it to make it a great gift. Opening the box the only other form of packaging is the bubble wrap, but at least its pretty safe and got here in one piece.

Whats in the box…

  • Headset
  • Microfiber Cloth
  • Instruction Booklet

Pansonite VR (Mobile VR Headset)

First Impressions: It’s hard to avoid the fact that it looks very much like a Shinecon V2 only with a different front panel, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It feels sturdy enough if a little cheap overall, but I still like it and think it looks pretty stylish and good value for money. (based on the way it looks anyway).

Features Review: The good news is the Pansonite VR has pretty much all you need to get into mobile VR. From its adjustable pupil distance to its independently adjustable focus distance, it has what you need in terms of focus adjustment to make the image as clear as possible. Sadly not screen touch button or anything that makes it stand out, but at least it has the basic of features which is always welcome.

Final Verdict: Here we are yet again looking at something well designed, with good features and what looks like pretty good comfort levels. That is…until you wear it. Because once again we are looking at the average, middle-of-the-road… the ordinary. With a small FOV and very little else to make it stand out, it falls into the abyss that is your average VR headsets pool. When oh when will they learn that a really good FOV and slight comfort is all you need to make a winning headset! Maybe I am being too harsh on it and for sure someone will be happy with it. But that person isn’t me, but only because I know there are much, much better headsets out there.
