RL VR Box (Mobile VR Headset)

“A good starter headset…”

Please note: Box weight, size and contents might not represent your own product as sometimes different sellers use their own packaging and often include extra items like controllers, wipes, cloths or other promotional materials.

Box Weight: 411 g
Box Height: 15 cm
Box Width: 18 cm
Box Length: 24 cm

Overall Packaging Presentation: No real box to speak of, just a polystyrene box to protect it. But at least this made sure it arrived to us safe and sound.

Whats in the box…

  • Headset
  • Microfiber Cloth
  • Instruction Booklet

First Impressions: Getting it out of the polystyrene box for the first time I instantly noticed it is pretty much a VR box V1 with a different style facial plate. So front heavy, strong design and most the features you need to get going straight from the box.

Features Review: Like every VR box clone that has gone before it, it has independently adjustable pupil and focus distance (which is handy given that you can’t wear glasses with it) nice and wide 3-point adjustable head strap and pretty clear lenses, but not the biggest FOV.

Final Verdict: This headset is as basic as you get and little more than a VR Box V1 clone. But don’t take that as a bad thing, it has all you need to get going with most Google Cardboard apps and thanks to the independently adjustable features it should cover most people who would normally wear glasses. Yes, it’s nothing special, but it is also nothing bad. A good starter headset if you so happen to get one as a gift or brought it yourself.
