Final Verdict: The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was a pretty great phone that was perfect for every day use and more than powerful enough to handle any VR app or game. Sadly Samsung did have a small problem with battery defects that did cause many Note 7 units to overheat, combust or even explode. Sadly this also means they were not exactly the best choice when being used in a Gear VR so close to your face. The good news is, any that are still working and out there in the market will probably be OK to use meaning you could snap up a real bargain. Just make sure you pay attention to any overheating notifications while in VR.
