“… not as good as the PS VR, but pretty close…”

Box Width: 14 cm

Overall Packaging Presentation: With a nice turquoise coloured box and ripped off images from the PS VR it looks pretty good! I’m pretty sure this headset is not as good as the PS VR, but pretty close (according to the box artwork anyway). What I am trying to get at is that it comes in a nicely presentable box and if you got this as a gift for Christmas, you would be pretty happy if you received it as a gift. Moving into the box, the headset is bagged, but no other signs of packaging. But as always it got here in one piece and you have to give it credit for that given that it come fall the way from China.

Whats in the box…

  • Headset
  • Spare Rubber Pads
  • Microfiber Cloth
  • Alcohol Cleaning Wipes

First Impressions: From the moment I got it out of the box, I realised this was little more that a VR Box clone. It has the same tray sliding features, same pupil and focus adjustments and the same front-heavy design. Sorry to sound ungrateful here, but isn’t it time we get a little bit of innovation in the world of mobile VR headsets?

Final Verdict: Yes, you have probably already guessed it by now, it’s nothing more than a VR Box clone that has a badly translated name ‘The Athletics Person’ should be Superhero. This headset is no saviour of the world, but it might save someone from getting cardboard burns. If you get this headset as a gift, well done. But if you are thinking of buying it for yourself, don’t bother. As per usual a good starter headset, but very little else.
