Overall Packaging Presentation: Arriving in a plain black box, it was a little battered, but more or less intact. Inside of the black box the headset is wrapped in bubble paper, safe and protected.

First Impressions: Picking it up and out of the box for the first time, you will instantly notice how unusual it feels. This is a tough, plastic shell from what I can guess is covered in some sort of sort rubber. This gives it a strange, rubber / silk like texture that is nice to hold. While it is nice to hold I would also imagine it would be easily marked, so some care will be needed when handling it. This headset feels and looks great, well-centered weight distribution and a good quality build overall.

Features Review: This headset has the same features that it gets from the VR Shinecon. So adjustable pupil and focus distance (neither of which are independently adjustable), wide 3-point elasticated head strap and a strong design. But it has to be said that the lenses are a little smaller than the original VR Shinecon headset.

Final Verdict: While it does borrow a lot of inspiration from the VR Shinecon, it is still a good headset in its own right. With it’s soft, rubber-like shell and good adjustable features this a good headset. Sure it’s a little heavy, but it’s also big on comfort and quality. This is not a headset for the little ones, you need a strong neck for this headset, but us adults will appreciate the comfort levels it offers.
