Box Width Size: 12 cm
Box Length Size: 24 cm
Overall Packaging Presentation: Nothing much to see on the white box apart from a sketch of the headset and some writing. The big green VR writing adds a little touch of colour to an otherwise rather boring box. Inside there is no padding at all and the headset is wrapped in a bag. To be fair it did arrive to use thickly wrapped in bubble wrap and placed inside a bubble wrap bag as well.
Whats in the box…
- Microfiber Cloth
- Instruction Booklet
- Magnetic Strips
VR Eyes V1
First Impressions: From the moment you first pull it out of the bag you know that the manufacturers / distributors had really missed a trick with this headset. The plain, boring white box is not fitting for such a beautiful and well-made headset. They could have doubled, then tripled the price just by tarting up the box! While it does feel a little heavy getting it out of the box, it feels extremely well made and of course it looks fantastic.

Features Review: With both independent pupil and focus adjustment as well as it’s super cool pole sliding system you can focus in with the phone holder as well as the adjustment dials. It doesn’t have a screen touch button, but you can touch the screen if you need to and the face padding is amazingly firm and soft at the same time. While the whole headset is a little flat to fit my own face properly it still felt strangely comfortable and immersive.

Final Verdict: This headset is close to being almost perfect! While the weight and the lack of screen touch button does effect it, it is still one of the very best mobile VR headsets we have reviewed. VR Eyes V1 is a rose amongst other headsets. It might come in a rubbish looking box (it’s bud) but once it is out in full bloom for everyone to see it is simply stunning. Not flawless by any means, but definitely amazing.
