Overall Packaging Presentation: Arriving in a small, but very well presented box I didn’t have much hope of the headset inside of it being many cop. To be fair this was designed to come free with the LG G3 so it didn’t really have to sell its self. Sliding the outer box sleeve off and opening the box you soon realise that inside the box is all headset. No room for padding or anything else, the headset effectively becomes its own padding!

Whats in the box…

  • Headset
  • Instruction Booklet

First Impressions: Holding the headset in my hands for the first time I realised just how basic it was. No head strap, tiny lenses and essentially 3 bits of plastic slotted together. But all those bits of plastic were well made and they did slot together perfectly making a strong and very lightweight headset.

Features Review: It doesn’t really have any features at all. I suppose you could say that it had focus distance by moving the plastic housing in and out, but other than that all it has is a magnet button on the side (even this gets covered by the outer housing).

Final Verdict: Most people would have got one of these headsets for free when they brought their LG G3, which is handy as I wouldn’t want anyone to end up buying it. Its cheap, tacky, but oddly effective. This really is little more than a Google Cardboard clone made specifically for a G3. If you got it for free you might well enjoy it. But if you are looking to get one, don’t bother. There are far better mobile VR headsets out there for the same price.
