“…the type of headset to get the younger generation into VR…”

Overall Packaging Presentation: It’s a small, but also very colourful box that does catch your eye, but apart from the range of colours, it comes in, the rest of the box is covered in rubbish like talking about a controller and even a Gameboy!? Opening the box the headset is sat inside just dust bagged. No other forms of protection, but both the box and the headset are light enough to arrive pretty much anywhere undamaged.

Whats in the box…

  • Headset
  • Cleaning Wipes
  • Instruction Booklet
  • Microfiber Cloth

VR Mini (Mobile VR Headset)

First Impressions: Seeing it for the first time, I now confirm that it is pretty much a blatant ripoff of the LEJI VR Mini. But as for that headset wasn’t all that bad, I suppose it is no bad thing. It’s very lightweight, small and sadly flatter than my morning toast. This is not a headset for rounder faces at all, but it might be more suitable for smaller faces. But overall it doesn’t seem too flimsy and it looks well made, just well made with very cheap materials.

Final Verdict: I can only imagine the VR Mini is a headset aimed at small people, possibly a much younger audience that I am myself. I found it practical, but also uncomfortable and pretty much unusable for long amounts of time. Maybe this is the type of headset to get the younger generation into VR, but for adult use, it is not much use at all. Cheap and cheerful, does the job it needs to do, just don’t buy one for long term use.
