Overall Packaging Presentation: There is no point me talking down this packaging. It’s as awesome as it gets! It’s colourful, descriptive and has all the main points of interest and info you need to decide to buy it or not. Based on the box alone, I could easily see these flying off the shelves. Opening the box, the headset inside is nested within a clear plastic tray. This not only helps to display it nicely but also to give it that little bit of extra protection. Maybe it’s all a little over the top for a cheap VR headset, but it looks great nevertheless.
Whats in the box…
- Steering Wheel
- Instruction Booklet
- Rubber Pads
VR Real Feel Racing (Mobile VR Headset)
First Impressions: I had that funny feeling that when I opened up the box this headset was going to make my own hype for it dip like a deep sea diver…and that is exactly what happened. From the moment you get it out of the box, you will notice what a cheaply made headset this is. From the poor quality face padding to the lack of any adjustment features whatsoever. But yet I still hold hope that it is more comfortable than it looks and the actual experience will be worth getting it for.

Features Review: Sadly there really isn’t a whole lot of features about this headset other than the cool steering wheel and the 3 point head strap. But hey! At least you get the steering wheel right?!? (and maybe a cool box).

Final Verdict: As I sit here shaking my head, I have to wonder what I was thinking when I first saw this headset. Right up until the moment I opened the box, I had such high hopes for this headset and it’s accessory. But then, much like cars in the game, they crashed into a wall. Sure, it might amuse the little ones for a while, sadly I could see even them getting bored of it after a short space of time.
But yet, I do still like the idea this headset and accessory represents. Little fun bits of equipment like the steering wheel will enable new developers to make their games vision in new and exciting ways. While I can’t see a whole lot of people developing games for it, some might and that makes it worth putting out there.
