Overall Packaging Presentation: When you have a big name licence like Batman you knew VRSE was going to put some effort into the box and overall presentation of the headset. With loads of Batman related imaged (the animated version) and all the information you need to make a purchase it is shop ready, a great gift and very nice to look at for a collector. Inside the box, everything is protected by thick non-pullout cardboard with each thing being in its own compartment, so no complaints there (apart from it not pulling out of course).

Whats in the box…

  • Batman Themed Headset
  • Batman Themed Controller
  • Instruction Booklet

VRSE Batman Edition (Mobile VR Headset)

First Impressions:While everything is made of fairly cheap plastic both the controller and the headset are nicely themed, esspecialy with the large Batman logo on the front of the controller. While it is pretty clear from the off that the headset is little more than a VR Box V1 it still looks nice and anyone who is a fan of the animated Batman series will love the look of it. I just hope (but firmly doubt) it is just as nice to use as it looks.

Features Review: The good news is this headset ticks all the right feature boxes and has pretty much all you need straight out of the box with the exception of a screen touch button. With an easily adjustable head strap, independently adjustable pupil distance and focus distance and while it doesn’t have the screen touch button it does come with a controller. Sure, there is nothing amazing or stand out, but the essentials are all here.

Final Verdict: The truth is this headset will make someone very happy this Christmas. For someone who loves Batman like a collector, or someone who has never owned a mobile VR headset before it has all you need and it looks pretty good as well. The bad news is there are far, far better headsets out there and once you discover the Baofeng Mojing S1 or the Homido V2 you will soon realise just how rubbish this headset is. For the right person this is a good gift idea, but to everyone else, it is very much the same of nothingness and should be avoided.
