PSVR (2016)

PSVR

Presentation: When it comes to the unboxing experience the PSVR is as good as it gets. With a high-quality print outer sleeve, strong internal boxes with all the polish and gubbings you would expect from the worlds biggest selling console manufacturer. While all the things can be a little daunting at first the step-by-step instructions soon help you out. The PSVR is a joy to unbox, despite its budget price.

PSVR Box Contents

  • PlayStation VR headset
  • Processor unit
  • Stereo earbuds
  • HDMI cable
  • USB cable
  • AC adaptor and power cord
  • PS VR headset connection adaptor

Description: While on paper the PSVR should have died a very quick death that really wasn’t the case. In fact, it went on to sell 5 million units which were more than the Oculus Rift at the time and that really is a giant achievement. Also, it works perfectly fine with glasses and the field of vision is adjustable even if it is only in software form. Sure it is not the best when it comes to the display, but I did find it comfortable to wear even for long term use.

PSVR

Review: If you are willing to give yourself time to get into the PSVR and you get yourself the awesome PlayStation VR Aim Controller you will have a great time and if you just so happen to have a PS$ anyway this is well worth the money. Sur,e I hope the PSVR 2 is better and far easier when it comes to wiring, but this headset is still one of the best, even if the tech it is using seems a little dated when compared to modern VR headsets.
