With over 50 hours of gameplay, this is the most comprehensive version of the award-winning experience.

Review: With stunning graphics and very familiar gameplay mechanics this is the classic Tomb Raider we all know and love, but all wrapped up in one of the best storylines of the series and it even offers pretty good value for money if you take into consideration all the extra DLC content you get, all-in-all it’s an impressive GOTY edition that any Tomb Raider fan would be honoured to own. The VR aspect on the other hand (the reason we are looking at this game) is not as good as I would have liked, but is very hit and miss.

During the non-action scenes, it works really well, teleporting from place to place cleverly minimalising VR sickness. But the actions scenes, on the other hand, are not as nice and at times quite nauseating. The worst part is if you owned / played the original game (with all the extra DLC) you would find nothing new here at all. This is a massive opportunity wasted, but if you love your Lara games and don’t own the original Rise of the Tomb Raider game this is well worth buying (just don’t get it only for the VR).
