If you can’t witness the Solar Eclipse live, this App will simulate the event, turning day into night, highlighting the night time sky during daytime. This historical event can be repeated indefinitely. The developer of this App witnessed a past Solar eclipse and has been able to include some the the experiences in this App.

Review: Having seen a Solar Eclipse with my own eyes I know what a magical moment in life it can be. Solar Eclipse VR tries to capture the magic of an Eclipse for those who might not have seen one or are ever likely too. Sure, the graphics are basic and the “Solar Eclipse” isn’t anywhere near as fluid as I would have wanted it to be, but it’s still an oddly relaxing experience even as basic as it is. I think people who have never seen one might find this well worth a quid, having seen one myself with my own eyes I was left feeling a little disappointed.
