Description: SUPER AMAZEBALLS is an old-school puzzle game that’ll twist your brain! Using both hands: Tilt, spin, and rotate 3D ‘amazeballs’ to roll a pinball through multi-axis tracks. Compete for fastest times with cross-platform leaderboards, throw on hardcore mode for extra challenge, or just immerse yourself in a fusion of zen gaming and crisp arcade visuals!

Review: Do you remember those little ball bearing maze games where you had to tilt and guide your ball around a flat maze? Well, Super Amazeballs requires that same level of patience and dexterity but adds a VR and 3D element into the mix as well. Played on maze held within a dome the idea of the game is to get the ball from the start of the maze to the end of it. While there isn’t much of a maze style to it, the 3-dimensional track the virtual marble runs along can bend and twist in full 3D.

You control the game with the Oculus Touch controllers and grab and move the dome surrounding the maze. By rotating, tilting and spinning the globe you will guide the ball along the track. While that might sound easy, the bad news is the marble physics are spot on and even the slightest speedy bump against the edge of the track will see the marble falling off. And there are times when the sides are pretty much none existent!

While lots of fun to play, Super Amazeballs will turn you into a nervous wreck! Sometimes even the slightest of movements are needed so it’s a good job they have the control of this game down to a fine art and everything feels super responsive even with the tiniest of movements that are often needed. This is one of those games that would have been playable on a flat screen for sure, but in VR it is so much more fun. I could moan about the lack of “mazes” or the annoying music, but I won’t. This is VR innovation at it’s best and perfect to add to anyone’s VR game list.
