Description: The Last Dance Saloon is a gun-toting, time-looping, rhythm-based shootout at the edge of the known universe. Every time you wake up at the bar, they’re waiting outside to blast you to bits. Every time you die, they all come back. Every new loop is a chance to do it right.

Review: At first you would be forgiven for thinking ‘The Last Dance Saloon’ is a Wild-West shooter and while it is themed like that the main shooting is of mindless, robot drones and has very little to do with the main game. You get a blue gun and a red one and have to shoot the targets of the same colour in a pulse-like style. There is certainly no beat mapping here, but at least the guns work OK, but the navigation is little more than a guessing game as there is no guide line to show you what you are pointing at.

The problem I have is that the game is so bare-bones, so…undefined that it puts me off recommending it, but at the end of the day you are only paying £1.69 which is less than the price of a bottle of pop these days and you are getting a fun little shooter with a high score so you can at least challenge friends and family to it. I just wish the game knew what it wanted to be, or was at least made a little easier to navigate. While I do kind of recommend it I would wait for a few of the issues I mentioned to be fixed first before trying it.
