Review: The Rose And I is essentially a short story crafted by the artists and storytellers of Penrose Studios. The story goes that a character who is living inside a meteorite (or maybe it’s a planet) finds the flowing growing on his meteorite and decides to take care of it by watering the poor, dried-up plant. Once watered the rose starts to bloom and so does their friendship. It might sound like a simple storyline but this is a story told in a powerful way.

There will be 2 main things that will really surprise you about this short animated story. The first is the quality of the animation. It’s so fluid and beautiful in both graphics and sound. And the 2nd is just how immersive it is. It might be a short story but towards the end, even I started to care for the little flower!
