Review: I’m happy to admit that I do enjoy most VR coasters, but The Slingshot VR might be a step too far even for me. Essentially it is a virtual simulation of the classic “Slingshot” ride at the funfair and while the asking price isn’t too bad when you compare it to riding the real thing that can often cost £5+ it isn’t so bad I suppose. But what I do not like is how unnecessarily nauseating this ride can be. The real-world ride might well be the same, but there could have been levels of nausea to ride rather than full sickness-inducing all of the time. This is one ride you are best off watching someone else ride and save your money for a better one.
