Twobit Odyssey (Oculus Go)

Intro: Twobit awakens in a dark and mysterious place. But he is not alone. He sees you. You are his guide. When he asks for direction, look around and find a location for him to explore. When he finds a button, nod your head in agreement to activate it. Need to see what lurks in the dark? Activate the Twobit Vision and see the world through his eyes. But who is Twobit and, most importantly, who are you? Are you a figment of his imagination?

Review: Twobit Odyssey (The followup to Twobit, but you don’t need to have played it) is a strategy puzzle game that makes the best use of VR I have seen in a long time. Using your head movements and the odd touch on the Oculus controller means it is pretty easy to get used to the controls. With some great textures and perfectly adept sound effects, this is a game that is deeply immersive and while the robot will often do things that you didn’t want it to, like falling off platforms when you really don’t want it to and taking yes nods as no you feel oddly attached to this lovable metal ball and is the game goes on, you will become more and more invested with its success. I really can’t praise Twobit Odyssey enough and it doesn’t even ask the earth in terms of price neither.
