Description: “Vanishing Grace” is a narrative puzzle game set in a near-future where a solar storm has changed life on Earth. You play as Joel, a civil servant who has a quiet life until one day he discovers that Grace, his childhood friend, has disappeared. Her craft has reached the Citadel unmanned. It’s at this point that Joel decides to leave everything behind to find her. Pilot Grace’s craft and travel around desolate wastelands while you discover the story behind her mysterious disappearance.

Review: On the whole, I did find ‘Vanishing Grace’ a rather enjoyable narrative story adventure. The puzzles are challenging and interesting and the storyline keeps things ticking along rather nicely. While the slower pace of gameplay is not going to be for everyone I found it quite relaxing, even if some of the music can get a little annoying. The game does tick a lot of good boxes and overall I am impressed with it, but it is so short I was left wondering if I have missed out on half the game somewhere. For me personally, it wasn’t quite the gold-standard I wanted it to be, but it’s still well worth a look (maybe wait for a sale price before pulling the trigger on it)
