Description: A Story of Distress is a single-player stealth-based adventure game built from the ground up for Virtual Reality. Play through a campaign that features voice acting and intense storytelling. You and your brother set off to the big city of Aston in order to become successful merchants. There you meet a strange wizard who makes a living off selling weird potions. You are given one of them which gives you strange powers that alter the world around you. Later, your brother is murdered. You swear vengeance against the ones who dared defy you and your family, filling your heart with pure rage. Use stealth to your advantage and try not to get consumed by rage.

Review: I have to say I found myself lost in the storyline of ‘A Story of Distress’ and while it doesn’t have the best of graphics the storyline will keep you ticking over from start to finish. The idea of the game is to go around killing who you are told to kill in a stealth-like fashion. Sadly the gameplay does let the game down a bit, but I still found myself finishing the game in just under 3 hours and for £7.19 I think that is the right asking price. It’s not the best looking game at all, but this is one of those games you become immersed in and that time soon flys by. I for one enjoyed it, but I can see why a lot of people might feel otherwise.
