Description: Do you have what it takes to protect the seeds of life in this new multiplayer party game, or are you feeling a little squirrely? The seeds of life are under attack! It’s up to you and your friends to protect them or steal them – depending on if you take on the role of an extraordinarily protective tree or as one of several crafty yet thieving squirrels – in the new cross-platform party game, “Acron: Attack of the Squirrels!”, from Resolution Games.
In this hilariously fun experience that’s at its best when played as a couch party game together with a group of friends, “Acron: Attack of the Squirrels!” is both competitive and cooperative in nature for players across VR and mobile devices.
Review: Acron: Attack of the Squirrels! could have been a great game and some part of me still thinks it is. The main problem I have with this game is the lack of a single-player mode. Or at the very least an online mode for people to play with their smartphones against people in VR. But alas this is a multiplayer game only and that is one of this games biggest problems.
The good news is this is one VR game the whole family can enjoy playing. Once you have that, you will find this game a good laugh and sure to be a winner at a family get-together or a small gathering of friends. It is also easy to pick up and play so should be good for people of all ages and if that sounds like something you would enjoy, this is well worth a download. But for us sad and lonely single players, this is best avoided.
