Description: Inspired by Adam Savage’s Tested One Day Builds, Adam Savage’s Tested VR takes audiences on a journey inside the creative workspaces of incredible makers, bringing their processes to life, from ideation to creation. Featuring an eclectic roster of creators including a Broadway and TV puppeteer and a cosplay animatronic wings designer, Adam and the Tested team put viewers inside their workshops for an intimate look at their builds.
Adam Savage’s Tested VR features 8 episodes filmed with 180-degree stereoscopic cameras that allow for an immersive look at the creative process like never before. Bonus footage includes Adam’s “Cave” workshop tours.
Review: Look, it’s not rocket science (unlike some of the more complicated things we have seen on Adam Savage’s Tested). If you love watching videos on the Adam Savage’s Tested YouTube channel you will love this. While the quality is good and being up close to the start is also nice, I can’t help but feel let down that this wasn’t interactive or something better from the same YouTube channels who have championed VR from the start! But hey! It is free so do give it a go if you enjoy watching this sort of thing. Otherwise, it is pretty pointless.
