Review: It has to be said ‘Arcsmith’ really is a game of two halves. On the one hand, the cartoon-style characters and indeed the character development are cutesy with a light-hearted, fun feel to the game and on the other hand, is the puzzles that at times can be so hard you might have to crack out a calculator just to solve them. But to be fair with a little bit of trial and error you can get most of them done. With its colourful graphics and engaging storyline you can easily find yourself becoming immersed in this game and to be fair there is a good of content as it did take me nearly 5 hours to finish it, but I did get stuck on some of the puzzles and had to walk away for a bit. While I do recommend it I wouldn’t let the little ones play this as it really has been aimed at adults, rather than the children the graphical style suggests.
