Description: Exercise to your own music! Punch, dodge, and dance around the ring. BeatBoxer is a VR boxing game that puts you in the spotlight of your own boxing match. Play any song from Youtube or use Airplay to play a continuous stream of music from Spotify, Pandora, iTunes, or your favourite music app. Train up from featherweight to world champ with increasing difficulty. Dip left and right to avoid dodges while executing uppercuts and jabs to the rhythm of your music. Immerse yourself and dance around the ring in Room-Scale VR. Put your opponent on the ropes and connect multiple streaks to increase your score.

Review: Beat Boxer is not the first time we have seen a rhythm game and a boxing game merged together and it probably won’t be the last. While it doesn’t to a terrible job at the genre it is lacking a little polish, especially when it comes to the rhythm matching. This is especially true when it comes to playing with your own songs. But then again, this is nothing new for this genre and while far from the best of it, I do still think Beat Boxer is worth a look. I would personally wait for a sale as I feel £5.99 is little too much, but other than that I recommend giving it a go, its a hell of a workout that is for sure, so be prepared to sweat!
