Description: Block’hood VR is a neighbourhood-building simulator that celebrates the diversity and experimentation of cities and the unique ecosystems within them. Budding city planners will have access to 200+ building blocks to arrange and combine and to create unique neighbourhoods and discover the implications of their designs. The game will embark on a story of ecology and understanding as additional resources are always needed to unlock new blocks, configurations, and combinations to create more prosperous neighbourhoods. Throughout the design process, players will need to avoid the decay of their city blocks by making sure each unit doesn’t run out of resources and become a strain on the complimentary units around them.

Review: Block’hood VR is like a VERY basic version of Sim-City in which you have to build up a small neighbourhood with a building and some farmland. The more you do the more things you can get. There are some challenges to play here, but most people will want to play the free mode. Well…they might have if the controls and UI weren’t a steaming pile of dog mess. It as if the developer hasn’t even tried to play the game in VR! There are no if’s or but’s about it, this game simply doesn’t work. Even if the UI was a hundred times better this game will not be worth £11.39 for a very long time. For now, I would leave it to grow like one of its little plants that I couldn’t get to plant.
