Description: Built from the ground-up for Virtual Reality, Budget Cuts 2 is an action-adventure stealth game where you zip, sneak, and stab your way through enemy-filled offices, trains, warehouses, and skyscrapers to take down the evil efficiency robots at TransCorp.

Review: While obviously ‘Budget Cuts 2: Mission Insolvency’ is a follow on to the classic game ‘Budget Cuts‘ it is also a slightly different beast. The first game was more a stealthy adventure game with the emphasis on taking your time and trying to find the least invasive path. The sequel, however, is much much more an action game with more weapons and a much more confrontational style. The problem is this game is more polished in both gameplay and graphics, but it doesn’t have half the content length the original game had! You can eke the time out a bit by replaying levels, but overall the game is quite short.

Don’t get me wrong, this is still a game well worth adding to your Steam Libary, but you should wait for a sale for sure. Also, fans of the original shouldn’t expect much more of the same game, more a reimagining of it. That doesn’t mean this is a bad game, it just means you should change your expectations for it before you try it.
