VR News: It seems there is a new victim of knife crime everyday on the news, but an interactive virtual reality experience is hoping to change the minds of the young kids of the West Midlands, where many of the victims are from. My Thoughts: While I am happy to applaud the good use of VR and anything that helps reduce knife crime numbers I have to wonder its true effect on the minds of the people who it is trying to change. Sadly a lot of knife crime incidents are from people not in gangs but people who were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. If this VR experience helps get funding and resources into the right hands it can only be a good thing.
