Review: Cardboard Camera is a simple to use app that deliverers surprisingly good results. The problem is it doesn’t deliver what other apps do. There is no 360 social media support and the “360” images are in a letterbox style which pails in comparison to Android photo spheres. While the 3D effect this app simulates, once again I would rather have a full 360 dome rather than some slight 3D effect. Deep down there really isn’t much need for this app and they could have easily implemented the same things into the original Google Camera app. Once other things get implemented to make this app more like the original Google Camera app I’m sure it will be amazing. But until then its just “OK” and nothing more.
