Review: It is clear from the off that ‘Carve Snowboarding’ is from the same makers as 1080 Snowboarding on the N64 because both games look the same! With a first-person view this snowboarding game is pretty much the same game as the original 1080 Snowboarding in which you much go fast downhill but also try and pull off as many tricks as you can. Sure, it looks basic most of the time, but that does help the frame rate as you do zip down hill pretty quickly at times. But when it comes to gameplay things are not so good and I felt the game was not as much fun as the 24 years old game it is taking inspiration from. This is one of those games you need to spend a lot of time with in order to like, but I get the feeling most people will give up way before that point happens.
