Set within the cook’s cabin of a fairytale forest, Cook-Out: A Sandwich Tale is a wacky and whimsical adventure that challenges up to four players to work together to keep the orders coming for a cast of enchanted creatures in this multiplayer VR title from Resolution Games.

As players progress through increasingly hectic levels, they not only prepare meals but also need to fight off a number of nasty customers who seem absolutely set on making trouble — like jesters who hide parts of orders, or thieves who keep pilfering ingredients.

Review: ‘Cook-Out’ is a single player or multiplayer virtual job style game in which you will be cooking, chopping and doing all the usual food-based jobs we have seen many times before. Set in a cartoon style fantasy realm you will be making certain dishes for certain creatures and you get to see more of them and learn more foods and methods as you go along. With both multiplayer modes and endless modes, this game certainly has enough content to justify its own price tag, but as with any game in this genre, it can get a little repetitive early on. For the price, I think this is well worth a look, but do try and get some friends to play the multiplayer mode with you as that is where the most value for money is.
