Daydream Elements (Google Daydream)
Intro: Creating immersive and interactive VR experiences introduces a new set of physiological, ergonomic, and technical challenges. How do you move comfortably in VR? How do you get the most performance out of mobile hardware? Elements is a collection of tested solutions that you can try, configure, and use in your own VR apps and games.
Verdict: Daydream Elements is a great collection of tips and examples of the best ways to develop an app for the Google Daydream platform. With tips on movement as well as implementing items and menu options. With several options and styles on each, it gives you quick but very useful tips on the pros and cons of each style. Not being an app developer I obviously can’t fully appreciate how useful these tips are, but anything that encourages VR development can’t be a bad thing.
