Description: Body tracking, head and hand tracking, controller emulation, and utilities. When using the Driver4VR for the first time, it MUST be started from the “Launch” button, to ensure any additional services and drivers it requires get installed. Driver4VR allows adding body tracking for your existing VR setups like Oculus, HTC Vive, or Valve Index. For 3DoF Headsets like phone-vr, PSVR or VRTek, Driver4VR can add position tracking and controller emulation. It also uses alternative devices (previous generation consoles, mice, keyboard) to emulate virtual reality controllers and input.

Review: ‘Driver4VR’ is a program that offers a wide range of tracking options and interaction functions, many of which you simply won’t be able to do without it. But much of what this app offers is so dated it is hard to know who might find this interesting. Finger tacking with Xbox Kinect? Please, we have full-hand tracking now with the Oculus Quest! My biggest issue with Driver4VR is the price because a quick look around online will find scrips and other programs that do pretty much the same thing for free. Sure, I just know a few people will find this program useful, but I wasn’t one of them.
